Physiotherapy Services
Expert physiotherapy. Evidence-based care. Real outcomes.
Bowen Physiotherapy provides private physiotherapy services in Bowen and Collinsville, supporting people across a wide range of health, injury, mobility, rehabilitation, and functional needs.
We are a rural generalist physiotherapy service, which means we assist with many different presentations across the lifespan. Our physiotherapists can act as first-contact practitioners for most musculoskeletal concerns — helping with assessment, early management, treatment planning, and referral guidance where needed.
You don’t need a referral to see us for most services. Book online or call us on (07) 4786 2640.
What is Physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy isn’t just treatment — it’s the difference between getting by and getting back to doing what you love.
Physiotherapists are university-trained health professionals who assess, diagnose, and treat a huge range of physical conditions. Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing pain, rebuilding strength, or trying to stay independent and active — a physiotherapist helps you get there faster, smarter, and with lasting results.
Physiotherapy is a science-based profession. All physiotherapists are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) — qualified, insured, and committed to ongoing education. Just like your GP, your physio is a regulated health professional held to rigorous professional standards. Every assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plan is grounded in current clinical evidence.
At Bowen Physiotherapy, we go further.
We combine evidence-based clinical practice with the best available technology and AI-assisted tools to deliver high-quality, outcome-focused care. We don’t just treat symptoms — we dig into the cause, build a plan, and measure your progress every step of the way.
Here’s what sets us apart:
- Evidence-based practice — our clinical decisions are driven by the best available research, not guesswork
- Purpose-built exercise studio — our exercise studio is equipped with clinical Pilates equipment, including reformers, trapeze and Wunda Chair, as well as machine weights, yoga mats, gait rails, cardio equipment and balance training tools. This allows us to support everything from early rehabilitation through to strength, mobility, balance and long-term conditioning.
- AI-assisted clinical tools — we use innovative AI technology to support accurate documentation, research, and clinical planning so our practitioners can spend more time focused on you
- Physitrack app — your personalised exercise and rehabilitation program, delivered directly to your phone so you can keep progressing between appointments
- Telehealth — can’t make it in? We offer video consultations so your care never has to stop
- Home visits — we come to you when getting to the clinic isn’t possible
- Classes and group sessions — supporting our community to move better, together
- Quality-focused care — we are committed to continuous improvement, clinical excellence, and delivering real, measurable outcomes for every patient
