Bowen Physiotherapy offers room hire for health, wellbeing, and community practitioners looking for a professional base in Bowen.

Whether you visit regularly or are exploring what’s possible in the Whitsunday region, our clinic provides a welcoming, well-equipped environment where you can focus on your clients.

Who We Welcome

Our rooms are suitable for a wide range of practitioners and organisations, including:

  • Complementary and integrative health practitioners

What’s Available

Our treatment rooms are private, professional spaces fully fitted out for clinical use, including:

  • In-room wash basins
  • Working desk in each room
  • Mechanical beds with electronic lift and lower functions for safe manual handling
  • Audio privacy — rooms are soundproofed so conversations remain confidential
  • Medical waste disposal on-site

Additional facility amenities include:

  • Fully disability accessible throughout, including an accessible toilet on-site
  • Shared spaces — waiting area and bathroom facilities for your clients
  • On-site kitchenette in the break room with fridge, sink, and a quiet space to rest between sessions

Scheduling

We are currently operating at capacity, so all room hire is arranged by negotiation only — including the possibility of weekend sessions where weekday availability is limited.

We offer half-day and full-day bookings, as well as regular ongoing arrangements. We do not offer hourly hire.

All arrangements are subject to availability and agreed in advance. Get in touch and we’ll work through what’s possible.

Visiting Practitioners

The following practitioners hire rooms at Bowen Physiotherapy and consult here on a regular or periodic basis. Bowen Physiotherapy does not manage bookings for these services. Please contact each practitioner directly to make an appointment.

Dr Peter McEwen — Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon

Dr Peter McEwen is a North Queensland-based orthopaedic surgeon specialising in knee conditions, including knee reconstruction and replacement. He consults at Bowen Physiotherapy as part of his rural outreach program, bringing specialist care closer to home for patients in the Whitsunday region.

Bloom Hearing — Audiologists and Hearing Aids

Bloom Hearing is a national audiology provider offering hearing tests, hearing aid fittings, and ongoing hearing care. Their Townsville audiologists consult at Bowen Physiotherapy, giving local patients access to expert hearing services without travelling to the city.

Elise Scott is a cosmetic tattooing and beauty therapist offering lip and eyebrow tattooing, fine line tattooing, beauty therapy, and nail services. She consults from Bowen Physiotherapy on a periodic basis.

Skin Patrol — Workplace Skin Cancer Checks

Skin Patrol is a doctor-led national provider of workplace skin cancer checks and flu vaccinations. They periodically operate from Bowen Physiotherapy, delivering professional skin checks to individuals and workforces in the Bowen region.
